- Fast charging
The Bad
- Multipoint connectivity is unreliable
- Volume could be higher
- No custom EQ option
Design & Comfort
Right out of the box, the 1MORE S70 impresses with its design. Available in black and white, the case features a translucent window that offers a peek at the earbuds inside. It’s a nice touch, even if purely aesthetic.

Comfort-wise, these earbuds are well-designed for extended use. They hook securely around the ears and sit comfortably even after hours of wear. If you wear glasses, no need to worry—these fit just fine alongside them. However, on my ears at least, I did notice some movement when worn, especially during high-intensity activities. They won’t fall off, but they may bob around slightly, making them less ideal for extreme workouts or vigorous exercise.
Controls & Connectivity
The 1MORE S70 features touch controls with double and triple tap functions, which can be customized via the 1MORE mobile app. The double tap works reliably, but the triple tap can be tricky to get right. If you typically control playback from your phone, this may not be a dealbreaker.

These earbuds come equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 and support multipoint connectivity—at least in theory. While you can connect two devices simultaneously, the earbuds will only play audio from the most recently connected device. Switching between devices requires manual reconnection, which limits the usefulness of multipoint pairing. Hopefully, a future firmware update will improve this functionality.
Low-latency mode is also available for mobile gaming, which helps minimize delay when playing on the go.
Battery Life & Charging
Battery performance is a major highlight of the 1MORE S70. A single charge delivers up to 12 hours of playback, while the charging case extends that to a total of 40 hours. That’s well above average for open-ear earbuds.

Fast charging is also a bonus—just 5 minutes of charging gives you 2 hours of playback, making these a great option for users on the move.
Charging is handled via USB-C, and battery levels for both the case and earbuds can be monitored in the 1More mobile app.
Sound Quality
Despite being open-ear, the 1MORE S70 delivers a surprisingly well-rounded sound profile. SBC and AAC codec support ensures decent audio quality, though there’s no LDAC support for hi-res audio. That said, hi-res support matters less in open earbuds, where bass response is naturally weaker compared to in-ear models.
Out of the box, the earbuds sound well-balanced, with clear vocals and distinct instrument separation. There’s still a reasonable amount of bass, although naturally less than in in-ear options. Volume levels are not the highest, so if you prefer extremely loud audio, these may not be the best choice. However, at maximum volume, they block out external noise almost entirely—defeating the purpose of open-ear earbuds. Most users will find a comfortable balance at moderate volume.

The 1MORE mobile app offers six preset EQ modes, but lacks a custom EQ option. While this may disappoint users who like to fine-tune their sound, the default tuning is already quite strong, and most listeners may not feel the need to adjust it.
Call Quality & Microphone Performance
The 1MORE S70 is equipped with four microphones designed to enhance voice clarity and reduce wind noise. In quiet environments, call quality is decent, with voices coming through clearly. However, in windy conditions or noisy environments, the performance is a mixed bag. Wind noise reduction doesn’t completely eliminate interference, making these earbuds good, but not exceptional for phone calls.
Final Verdict: Should You Buy the 1MORE S70?
The 1MORE S70 does a lot of things right. It offers great sound for open-ear earbuds, impressive battery life, and a comfortable fit for everyday use. However, it’s not perfect—multipoint connectivity doesn’t work as expected, volume levels could be higher, and there’s no custom EQ option in the app.
If you can live with those limitations though, then the 1More S70’s deliver decent audio quality, long battery life, and good mic performance, all for only $130. That makes these good value for money and definitely worth considering.
