Globular Cluster GPQ3

Globular Cluster GPQ3 Quest 3/3S Grip Covers
This is the cheapest, and probably the simplest, grip cover in this list as it simply replaces the battery cover on your controller with one that has an integrated hand strap.
This makes installation quick and easy as you are simply removing your existing battery cover and replacing it with this one. That’s it!

This grip cover not only adds a hand strap to your controller but it also increases its length. So if you find the controllers a bit small then this is a great solution for adding length whilst also making them easier to hold. The grip cover is just as easy to remove too meaning that replacing the battery in the controller, when needed, isn’t an issue.
The only real disadvantage is that it does make your controller incompatible with the official charging dock. Still, if that’s not a concern, this is a nice, simple, solution, and sometimes simple solutions are the best. Especially when they only cost $20.
BOBOVR G3 Plus

BOBOVR G3 Plus Quest 3/3S Grip Covers
The BOBOVR G3 Plus is a full silicone grip cover for your controllers that also come with extra hand straps. Useful if you break the ones that are already on it. Just for reference though my hand straps have had no issues and have not needed replacing.
The silicone cover itself is nice and contoured and moulded to my controller well. It was not loose and there was certainly no risk of it falling off, or your controller shooting out of it!
The hand strap is textured, which helps keep the strap on your hand without it slipping around. It also adjusts using velcro ensuring it fits a range of different hand sizes. So this will certainly accomodate those with both the largest, and smallest, of hands.

It also increases the length of your controller. So those with larger hands may find the controller more comfortable to use with this grip cover.
There are also two metal dots on the side of the grip cover that allows the controllers to still be charged wirelessly, when used with the BOBOVR D3 charging dock, without having to take the grip covers off. If you don’t have that charging dock though then this grip cover is less than ideal as the only way of replacing the battery in your controller, as there is no battery door, is to remove the entire grip each time, and that would definitely get annoying after a time.
Still, for those looking at the D3 Charging dock then this is an easy recommendation, and will set you back $25.
AMVR Controller Grips Pro

AMVR Q3HS3 Extended Controller Grips Pro
These are also a full silicone cover. Except these have the added feature of a battery door. This makes replacing the battery easy as you don’t need to take the grip cover off each time.
Unfortunately the grip cover is not compatible with the wrist strap that comes with the controller. So you do have to remove it before installing the cover. This is a shame as that would have given a bit of extra security against the controller coming out the cover. When installing do ensure that the grip cover snaps into the battery door slot on the controller. Otherwise the controller is at risk of flying out of the grip cover when you start using it!

The hand strap on the grip cover is foam padded on the inside. This makes it comfortable and soft on the back of your hand. It’s also easy to adjust as well using the drawstring at the bottom of the cover. I did find it to be the softest of the hand grips tested here.
The only issue I had with it was that there’s nothing really attaching the grip cover to the top of the controller so it can flap around loosely. You can still use the controller fine with it, I’m just not a big fan of this design.
So it’s a comfy grip cover that’s going to be ok for most people, as long as you can ignore the one issue I had with it.
Kiwi Design G4 Pro

Kiwi Design G4 Pro Grip Covers for Quest 3/3S
This is the only grip cover here that is ‘Made for Meta’. This is Meta’s official partner accessory program and so should give you some assurance as to it’s quality. Not only is this a full silicone grip cover, but it’s also the only grip cover in this list that allows you to continue using the wrist wrap with it, if you want to.
In a break from the other grip covers, Kiwi Design have gone for a cloth hand strap here. This has the advantage of not only being comfortable to use but also more breathable than their silicone or PU leather counterparts. The hand strap wasn’t as largely adjustable as the others in this list though, but it’s still going to accomodate most people.

Unlike the other full silicon covers in this list, the G4 Pro adds almost no extra bulk to your controllers. Which is a good, or a bad thing, depending on who you are. Kiwi Design also make a G4 Max Grip though which is an extended version of this grip cover if you did want that extra length.
Overall it’s a great grip cover, that’s available in both standard and extended lengths, and prices start at $27.
