If you’re looking for the best Quest 3 carry case for your Meta Quest 3, or Quest 3S, then these two from BoboVR and AMVR are definitely worth a look as not only do they both fit elite and halo style head straps, but they also fit the controllers, even with extended grip covers on them, and additional accessories too!

The AMVR VR Carrying Case has a generic design that makes it not only compatible with the Meta Quest 3, but also the Quest 3S, Pico 4, and even the Apple Vision Pro. It’s a relatively compact case and yet still manages to hold elite and halo style headstraps. There’s even a handle on the side that makes it easy to hold and take anywhere.

It’s also has a hard shell that will give any VR headset a decent amount of protection against accidental damage.
The AMVR Carry Case is easy to use with the Quest sliding into the case and held in place by an elasticated clip strap. The controllers then slide easily into the two mesh pockets in the lid of the case. Even extended controller grips can fit in these pockets. you can also place the controllers in the gap in the middle of the headset if you’d rather. There’s also an accessory pouch for storing extra items such as a charging cable and power adapter.

As an added bonus the case also comes with a lens cover to help protect the lenses in the headset from the sun, or other high intensity lighting.
Overall, it’s a well made case that’s strong on the outside, soft on the inside, and able to store your Quest 3 and accessories. It’s a nice compact case.
BOBOVR C3 Carrying Case

BOBOVR C3 Carry Case
The BOBOVR C3 Carry Case is one big case, but that’s not neccessarily a bad thing as that gives it plenty of space for fitting your headset, head straps, and accessories. It even comes with an accessory pouch for you to put all your little extras in such as your charging cable and power adapter.
It’s easy to carry around too thanks to the carry strap that it comes with that easily clips onto the side of the case so it can be carried like a shoulder bag. Alternatively you can also just use the carry handle on the side of the case which is strong and well made and folds flat when not in use.

The case has molded space for placing the Quest 3, and it is specifically made to work with that headset. so it’s not going to be compatible with the Quest 2 (you can look at BOBOVR’s own C2 for that), or other headsets like the Pico 4 or Apple Vision Pro. It does however work with a Quest 3S. It’s a bit of a tight fit, but it can house the larger headset.
The controllers also fit into the molded spaces for them. That’s great if you just have the controllers ‘as is’, but if you have any 3rd party grip covers, especially ones that extend the size of the controllers, then there is still space for them to fit, but it’s not going to be as flush a fitting.
Straps across the top then help keep the controllers, and the headset, in place.
The BOBOVR C3 Carry Case also has a handy hole for storing their B100 battery which magnetically attaches once docked to ensure it doesn’t fall out.

It is a rigid case that provides plenty of protection for your Quest 3. I’ve even sat on it when testing and my Quest 3 has been fine.
One handy trick that this case has is that it can be converted into a table display stand too! The lid of the case can be unzipped and removed and then the bottom part of the case nestles in the lid. It’s a great idea that gives you two products for the price of one!

Which to buy?
Which one you buy really depends on the headset and accessories that you have as both are some of the best Quest 3 carry cases that you can buy.
The AMVR has the advantage of a more generic design that will suite a wider range of VR headsets. It’s also slightly more compact than the BOBOVR one, and only costs $23! That makes it a pretty good buy for the budget conscious buyer.
However, if you are already invested in the BOBOVR ecosystem of accessories, then the C3 Carry Case makes more sense. Not only does it easily house their S3 Pro head strap, but it can also fit any facial interface, the controllers, and their B100 battery. You can even fit their BD3 Charging Dock in it too. However, it is over twice as expensive than the AMVR one, at $50. Still ,for a BOBOVBR user it’s the ideal choice.
